The story
Jasmine at night,and the room knows.
Devana is the other side of the same flower. It opens bright, bergamot cutting through the jasmine like a window thrown open, and then it turns: vanilla warms it, patchouli gives it depth and a little smoke, and the white musk that Désiréa wears close to the skin here becomes the trail.
It is made for evenings. For hair perfume that moves when you do, for the first hour being slightly too much and the last hour being exactly right, and for being asked what it is.
What is in it
The opening
Bergamot
A bitter-sweet citrus that keeps the first hour from tipping into syrup. It burns off fast and leaves the jasmine exposed, which is the point.
The heart
Jasmine
The note both scents share. In Devana it is fuller and darker: the flower at night rather than the flower in the morning.
The base
Vanilla and patchouli
Vanilla for warmth, patchouli for depth and a little smoke. Together they are what people mean when they call a scent seductive, and they are the part that lasts.
