The story
Built around a gardeniaat dusk.
Désiréa began with one idea: the smell of skin that has just been washed, and a white flower opening in the evening heat. Gardenia carries the first hour, creamy and green at the edges. Jasmine sits underneath it, quieter than you expect. Then white musk takes over and stays for the rest of the day, the part people describe as you, but better.
It is a scent for close range. Nobody notices it across a room. Everyone notices it in a hug.
What is in it
The opening
Gardenia
Creamy, green at the edges, a little indecent. It is the first thing you smell and the first to fade, which is why the rest is built to catch it.
The heart
Jasmine
The note both scents share. Here it is kept quiet: a softness under the flower rather than the flower itself.
The base
White musk
The reason it lasts. Musk clings to warm skin and fabric, and it is why the lotion and the hair perfume matter: they give it more to hold on to.
